Coupa has developed a suite of applications to help increase compliance, efficiency, and visibility.

How will Coupa be implemented at EDF Renewables?

Coupa will be delivered in a big bang approach where all departments at EDFR and suppliers will start using the system from the 30th of April 2024.
March 2024
You will receive an email with a link to the supplier page on the EDFR website and video to introduce Coupa to you.
Early April 2024
You will receive a Coupa supplier awareness pack that will cover:

Coupa goes live!
You will receive an invitation to register on the Coupa Supplier Portal. Once registered, suppliers will be able to receive purchase orders, submit invoices and track payments on Coupa.

Will training for suppliers be provided?

Yes – EDF Renewables will be sending you emails with links to training guides and videos. We will also be uploading Coupa  content onto the EDF Renewables Supplier Website. Keep a look-out for these emails.
Training will be conducted from the end of April 2024.

What is the Coupa Supplier Portal?

The Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) is a free tool for suppliers to easily do business with their customers who use Coupa. The CSP makes managing customers and transactions easy. You can manage content , settings, view purchase orders , send invoices and comment on documents to enquire and more.

Where do I register for the CSP?

EDFR will send suppliers invites to register on Coupa. If you are an existing supplier for EDFR and have not received the link, you can request an invitation to join the CSP by sending an email to suppliers@edf-re.co.za or call 021 657 4211.

How do I register for the CSP?

As a new supplier, to register on COUPA you have to first be awarded a tender (in response to an RFP/RFQ) from EDFR. The EDFR Supplier Support Team will obtain your business details and register you on Coupa. Following which, a Coupa-generated confirmation email will be sent to you, prompting you to join the Coupa Supplier Portal.

NOTE: If you are a prospective supplier who would like to do business with EDFR, but have not yet participated in any tenders, you need to submit your information on the Potential Supplier Registration form. Applying to be a supplier does not guarantee that you will become a registered supplier.

Do I have to sign up on the CSP to do business with EDFR?

Yes – All suppliers that want to do business with EDF Renewables will be required to use Coupa. We’re moving buying process and invoicing processes to Coupa.

Troubleshooting: I have the email invitation, but I still can’t register, what do I do?

If you’re using the link in the email and still can’t register, try the following:
  • Image
    Check that all required fields are populated.
  • Image
    Make sure you are registering within 30 days of receiving the invitation email, the link will expire after 30 days.
  • Image
    If the link has expired send an email to suppliers@edf-re.co.za
    Try using a different browser.
If all the above don’t help, send an email to suppliers@edf-re.co.za or call 021 657 4211.

Troubleshooting:
My CSP Password

I’ve forgotten my password

You have the option to reset your password on the CSP. Under your login details you will see a link to reset your CSP password.

I’m trying to reset my password but I’m not receiving the reset password email!

Check your spam/junk email folder. These emails sometimes get flagged as spam.

Troubleshooting: Will the Coupa emails go to my spam, junk mail or will they come straight to my inbox?

  • Image
    There is a possibility that the mails may go to spam or junk mail.
  • Image
    You will receive an email from EDF Renewables confirming your registration, this email may state that you must check your inboxes for Coupa emails.
  • Image
    We advise that if you do receive emails from Coupa in your spam or junk mail that you set your mailbox to accept these emails by adding Coupa as a sender to your whitelist.

How do I enable two-factor authentication

    Sign into the CSP.

    At the top right hand corner you will see your name, hover over or click on your name to activate the drop down menu.

    Click on account settings, and select security & multi factor authentication  to enable two-factor authentication.

How do I know if I am connected to EDFR?

    Scroll down to the bottom right corner of the page.

    EDF Renewables will be listed under your Linked Connections  – you are connected!

Will my payments be delayed during the transition process?

No, the payment process will not be changing so we do not anticipate any delays in payment. The introduction of the supplier portal will allow you to track your invoice status giving you visibility should any issues arise in the process.

I supply more than one department. Will I need to re-register on the Coupa Supplier Portal for those departments?

No, you do not need to create separate Coupa Supplier Portal accounts for each department.

My company is small; will I be still be able to use the Coupa Supplier Portal?

The Coupa Supplier Portal can be used by all organizations irrespective of their size. Suppliers only need internet access and an email address to register.
